Just introduced The Tipping Point to Wan, which I think quite accurately describes him. I kinda intrugued him when I started calling him a 'Maven', and now he's reading it too :). I don't think I personally fit into a Connector, Maven or Salesman archetype, but i know a lot of people who do. For example, I think Wei Tiong is a 'Connector', Perry is a 'Salesman', Jamie is a 'Connector', possibly a 'Salesman', Ricky is a 'Maven, & possibly even a 'Connector'.

Ricky, tell me if I'm rite okay? dun want to pigean-hole you into the WRONG HOLE!, not that i should anyway, but it's kinda fun. Tell me if it's wrong :)

An extract from the book on what a connector is. As for the other two, (from my view anyway) a 'Maven' is an information broker, and a 'Salesman' is, well, a salesman.
